Transitions UK supports disadvantaged young people aged 14 to 25 years to ensure the transition to healthy, happy and fulfilled adult lives. They create positive relationships, tailored to each individual in need. This is provided through mentoring, befriending and guidance whilst helping them learn the skills they need to find their place in society.

One of their project managers, Vanessa Leroux attends networking lunches at our restaurant so knew how we can create the perfect event with a combination of venue, great food prepared by our talented chefs and any extras the event organiser wants.

It was a lovely sunny evening and was attended by both public sector and private business people. The aim was to raise the awareness of Transitions UK while also celebrating National Volunteers' Week with an eye to getting the local community more involved.

We have a wonderful archway into our courtyard and put on a welcome bar serving glasses of prosecco or orange juice and called in all our waiting staff to serve some delicious canapes to the guests. Everyone agreed that the nibbles our talented chefs prepared were delicious.

Sponsored by Milton Keynes based Queensbury Consulting, and with speeches from Transitions UK CEO, Ron Overton, Project Manager Vanessa Leroux and the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Sam Crook there were happy faces and some great conversations. Many of the attendees were able to meet and talk to some of the young people the charity is working with.

"Would you like to book your own event?"
